    It happens usually with young snakes still trying to figure it out, or larger animals fed a prey that is too small no biggy.

    it seems like they struggle more when swallowing prey backwards. it's like against the grain or swimming upstream but it all works out fine with smaller prey.

    here's my girl eating a fuzzy backwards.

    my normal girl even swallowed a prey sideways when she was younger. :O :rofl: it took a long, long time tho and it looked very uncomfortable. i was so close to pulling the fuzzy prey out of her mouth.

    yep, she kinda squished the fuzzy into a u shape trying to squeeze it in. it was still a very big mouthful for as baby. :oops:
