To rlditmars, not taking nothing away from anybody who knows their bp's. I respect some of the input I have received from several individuals on this forum. bigfish1975 for example. The bp went to different breeder, not the hobbyist originally purchased from.
And to ohhwataloser, 100% written and noterized document convinces me that I have a humblebee.

For what purpose?

Honestly I don't know. But my guess from wording, is because he wants to keep the money spent and his collection? Wants happy and repeat customers? Hard to say really.

Huh. First ball python breeder I've heard of that feels the need to have his reputation notarized.

Everyone does business differntly. Every time I buy property I want it done with a lawyer present. What's wrong with that? Nobodies word is any good in today's society (my opinion).

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it. It's just uncommon (to say the least) in this hobby, so I was curious and asked. Nothing more, nothing less.

People have bought many snakes with out a notary public. In fact, I'd be willing to guess almost all transactions have happened without a notary public. Including the $50,000+ ones. The notary will have no idea what a honeybee ball python is. That paper means nothing.

All a notary does is vouch that you are the person you say you are when you sign a document. So, congratulations, you have a document that says that the breeder is the person he says he is.

Even by the off chance that the snake is a honeybee, it is the poorest example of one ever and not something to come on here and make a fool of yourself over. If you don't want people's opinions on your snake, don't ask.
