1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2. Early build date of Jan 1965 :D. I'm going to finally get started on this project after the 1st of the year. The car doesnt have the original engine, but i was able to find a pretty early 1965 Code A 289. I'm looking forward to it!

well have fun with that. why'd you choose a fastback? if i was going to restore anything it would have to be a mid-60's camero. i started on a '72 land cruiser for a while but ended up selling it.
so, invadertoast... want to paint me a bp? hood to trunk?

My uncle has a '67 Shelby Mustang, he's also in the process of restoring it... I can't freaking wait 'til he finally finshes, this project has been goin' on since I was a little kid! My other uncle also has a '66 that he wants to do something with... it's pretty boned out though, and his wife won't let him play with it because she's mean... but someday :) lol

Sure! Just gimme 'til next spring/summer when I graduate, I don't learn airbrushing in detail 'til next year. I'd be happy to do it for ya :D

now back on to the subject

Both, heheh. I've always liked to draw stuff, but when the time came to think about art schools I decided I really, REALLY didn't want to be a graphic designer. I've also always, always, always liked cars. A couple summers ago my boyfriend got a brown Plymouth Sundance (it was cheap and available... lol) and we painted it two-tone w/ flames as a joke. Then I had an epiphany and e-mailed a couple custom car/sign guys in my area, and found out about the Butera School of Art. I'm lucky 'cause it's the only school in the world that teaches sign/custom car painting and it's right in Boston :D So, that's my life story... lol.
Oh and I'm a Ford girl at heart, but I'm open to pretty much anything and everything, except imports (sorry guys, I can't understand the 4 cyl. thing...)
-
LOL, i definitely don't get the import thing. THERE'S NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT A HONDA CIVIC!! i'll try not to hold it against you that you're a ford girl. that just means you haven't spent enough time driving nice cars ;) i used to be a toyota girl (an old TLC could drive right up a wall!) but then i met the chevy that stole my heart.
-
Lol, I'm currently driving an '85 Linocln Mark VII with a worn out 302... nothing special, but I love that car, she's been good to me, lol. I'm waiting on my uncle with the Shelby to hand down his '88 LSC to me... hopefully next spring. Then I can tell all my friends that I have two Lincolns and people might think I'm rich ;) I like my share of GMs too though, I got to drive a '68 Firebird with a 400 in it, now that was awesome!!! And my boyfriend has me turning my head at every old Buick that comes within a 100 mile radius of me. I haven't done too much off-roading... but I did get to drive a '68 Austin Gypsy. That was hard, but fun!
So what Chevy was it that stole your heart? :)
