Thanks all! I love the jackolantern pied!

This boy has already proven to throw speckled babies so I can't wait to make some of my very own!

Gorgeous pieds! Never heard of "gold dust" being used for super mahogany.. I've only heard them called suma. There is a line of mojave that is called gold dust I believe. I agree digital would be a more accurate description. It'd be fun calling them digi-pied

Ah, yes, that's right, the official gold dust is like suma/spider or something.

I don't know why this project got dropped! I have no idea who had him for most his his breeding life, and no idea what happened to his sister. Mike Russo made a speckled female with him this year that was stunning (I wish I still had the pic, I accidentally erased it...I should ask him to send it again).

    Digi-pied! Heehee.

Yeah, I think I will change it to Digital if I can prove that it effects another morph and therefore a gene of its own. The 'het for gold dust' certainly looks like a nice 'dinker' and I've seen other genes that look less special when they are just mixed with normal and don't really show their stuff until they are a 'super' or mixed.

I'll be on the hunt for a 'morph of some sort het for pied female' to also pair him with.

Arrrgghhh.... Pixel Pied.....I really like that!

The reptile report, tell me more. I've never really looked into 'proving' a new gene.

I got into ball pythons five years ago, bred for two years, and then I sold everything except for her when I moved across country. I figured I'd wait til she as breeding size before getting a male. I did breed her last season to a black pastel pin het pied...and had a devastating incubator accident. I had sold the het pied, and I was searching around for a male pied to make sure I got all visuals when this guy basically fell into my lap.
