Ditch the newspaper from the Sterilite and pad it with stuffed animals :hobbes: instead, for an extra-comfy :couch: secure :police: ride. Don't use your favorites :teddy: as they may get soiled  along the way. Be sure they're fairly snug , though, so that there's not a lot of room for bouncing :bounce: around and getting hurt :bonk:  or worse :tombstone: .

Put her in a pillowcase with some folded paper towels (in case she urinates). Then put her in a 15qt sterlite packed with crumbled up newspaper as a cushion (actually pillow stuffing from a craft store works a thousand times better and is really cheap, but newspaper will do). This will provide her with a nice stable way to travel without sliding around inside a cage. If the temps along the way are going to get below 70, you might want to look into ordering some heat packs over the internet or look for some type of hand warmer from a sporting good store.

The heat packs or hand warmer can be wrapped in newspaper and kept at the bottom of the 15qt sterlite underneath the cushioning.

Sterilites are not air tight so there's no need to make holes.

    Hope this helps. :brushteeth:

    Hey Adam,

Just wanted to thank you for your advice. I drove Ronin home yesterday and followed put him in a pillowcase in the newspaper cushioned sterlite and he did great even though he was in there for 6 hours!. I just kept him below on the floor of my car with the leg-heaters on.

I wish it wasn't winter time, i miss being able to take the snake out wth me during the summer months. I just throw him on my neck and take her out with me and she seems to enjoy being outside. i usually take her to the Mountain reserves right near my houes and hang out with her there. I let her explore in the grass and stuff and she has a great time
