Holy crap! Well he is certainly in great hands now. He's spoiled rotten and has a nice, big enclosure. Do you guys think I should do more to try to locate the original owner?? I really don't want to post a "Found Snake" thing on Craigslist and deal with all those idiots, but I feel bad if this guy is super valuable. Even though the original owner was irresponsible in housing him

What do y'all think I should do?

Not likely to make that differentiation without breeding.

I would personally but it's your call. The original owner isn't necessarily irresponsible. I've had someone come into my yard and tamper with enclosures. I imagine a person hired to do a job in house might do the same.

OK, I'll do it. How much is this type of snake worth?

I hear you there! I'd be one happy chick if a pretty lil albino bp like that strolled into my garage! :D

If he's actually a male albino black pastel at that size, then around $400 at the very least? People tend to value level of contrast in albinos and that differentiates the price between high-contrast albino black pastels or more faded albino black pastels like this one.

Yeah, I'd post a found ad on craigslist too... despite the annoying emails. You can also ask to send you their existing photos of this snake, to prove the real owner. I'm sure that will filter out most of the tricksters.

That's exactly what I did. Posted the ad last night, I'll see what turns up! Thanks for your help.

Haha trust me, I am down in the dumps just knowing I posted the ad on Craigslist!! I secretly hope nobody bites! :P BUT, I figure if I feel this attached to him after only a few months, I can only imagine how his original owner must feel. Plus, if I do end up reuniting them, I have room for another snakie-poo if I encounter another one at work! :)

Still, fingers crossed I get to keep him!

Just to update everyone, I posted an ad on craigslist about finding this beauty and never got any bites.

I've heard a few people toss around black pastel ball, is that the concensus? I am planning on keeping HER (as it turns out, haha).
