    hmmm, i was thinking about that cage for my boa also, exept without the hidebox in it. If anything, I will get the one that is 17.5 inches high, but my boa is NEVER in her branch anyways

    Juvinile BCI will climb if given the chance, older boas will not! 12" tall is fine I use this size for my adluts and it is perfect.. But then again I have to make room for lots of them in a small room... 24" caging just makes it harder to heat.. A 4 foot cage will last you for a long long time if not forever. Another option is to get the cage at 4' and add an expandable end so as the boa grows if you want to extend the cage yo can do that then. Save the up front expense.
