Re: When should I attempt assist feeding?
At this point yes I would assist feed to get her back going again, IMO given the original weight this animal was probably not consistent to start with.
Once she get assisted leave her alone same as before, and next time you try feeding again, place the BP in a brown paper bag with a large fuzzy mouse (eyes still close), close the bag and place it in the tub leaving them both together overnight. Hopefully this will work, I would also clutter up the tub with lose crumble newspaper.

Hi Deborah,
I've been able to succesfully assist feed the spider BP last night. I got a pinky mouse in her mouth, gently hooked her teeth in it, she didn't hesitate for long and got it down. Pfew....... to my relieve!
Next tuesday I'll try to feed her again. I can't get hold of a fuzzy (with it's eyes closed) real easy, so I'll try a f/t fuzzy. If she doesn't take it, I might assist her again. Do you agree with this method?
Should I continue assisting until she get's the hang of it and eats on her own?
Regards,
Giddy

I'm sorry. It could be she wasn't eating because something else was wrong. Not all of the babies make it.
When should I attempt assist feeding?
I am so sorry to hear this - perhaps there was something wrong all along. Rest In Peace little baby.....
