    I was curious since the tops of their heads show those head strips connecting with the neck stripe.

    Thanks! It will probably be at least a year before he will be utilized. My het females are still too small at this point, but I got him for almost nothing in a very nice package deal. He's a fun guy to have around at any rate, and hopefully will produce some pastel pied/killer pied for me in the future.

    Here's the pastel 66% possible het pied female. She has ok-ish markers with a small ringer. Not much side white on her at all.

    A few look like granites. Some people label this as a gene, others do not. Lots of different granite animals out there - some heritable and others not. It doesn't really add to the value and depending on the combo it can be desirable or undesirable. Funky pattern, black speckling like you pictured, and the black dribble dragged down behind the back of the head are signs.
