Yep, I can't say that I support hiding pets from your parents at all, and it sounds like you'll be in position to move out soon. How about just keeping it at a friend's house nearby where it would be allowed? A corn is a good starter snake, and you should have plenty to choose from at the Dixie show as it seems to be a better show for colubrids than for boids.
