Yeah, I say let nature be the judge and jury. Just allow them to emerge and then you will be more able to definitively id the morph. Good luck either way. Nice clutch.:)

What was the final result of the morph variation?

I hate the never cut/ let nature take its course crowd! Are there 120 volt outlets in the wild for mama ball pyhtons to plug their incubators into, no. The only people in my opinion that can say that is people who maternally incubate.

Bottom line, you bred them. Without you the eggs would not exist. I have learned that my magic number is day 58. After I cut, they pip that night or the next morning.

Don't let people try to make you feel bad for cutting.

And yes, I cut mine because by the end of incubation I am impatient! I want to see what I helped create.

I agree those cuts are way too big. Sometimes I will cut before the first pipper if they go past 60 days. However, I make a very small V shaped notch just to poke the baby and make sure it is alive. Most times with a hole this small I can not tell the morph unless it is very obvious like a BEL or albino.
