    I am way too nervous to throw a live mouse or rat in with him. I would hate For him to get hurt. For his size the small rats are still too big.

    Then mouse. Snakes are perfectly capable of handling a live mouse. Don't leave it in over night or anything but you need to try it. Some ball pythons would starve before taking frozen

    Well thankfully he ate. Maybe when he gets a bit bigger I'll feel comfortable, but since he has eaten f/t before and the only time he hadn't eaten was because of shed, I feel comfortable sticking with f/t till he has grown a bit more.
