I just go ahead and use it for the whole thing. Just play around with how damp it is until you get it right. :)
(Note: I have heard things like bugs can live in cypress mulch. I haven't had the problem so far. I just stick the bag in the freezer for a day or two first and thaw it for twenty-four hours at least, not sure if anyone else does that.)

This is curious to me, because I have a reptifogger and my girl is in a 20L with foil covering most of her screen top and her bedding isn't wet.... Hmm. Where do you have the sensor placed?

Ball pythons don't need super high humidity, unless your snake is having trouble shedding I wouldn't worry about it, ditch the fogger.

I have the tube placed over her water bowl because it drips a little. But my entire tank was soaked even some under her cave because originally her opening was Pointed towards where the fog would flow . So i turned it around. It was wet behind my statues and everything so strange because I have never even read this issue before . The only reason I got it is because the reader was at 20-30% humidity and her last shed (when I got her from my friend) was stuck on her neck. And because I have a 12×15 room and run an a/c. Im going to get a digital reader today but this wet thing makes no sense to me

It didnt come with a sensor. It was just the fogger the bottle and the tube. Set up and go . Not sure what you mean

It measures the humidity with a sensor and turns it off and on as needed for the set level of humidity. I know it's overkill for my BP, but I'm OCD enough to want it to be perfect when I am not home to mist her. I'm sorry :( I feel like a jerk for not making sense...
