    My first snake (ball python) had a respiratory infection when I got her. When I took her to the vet, I was told that I needed to give her shots.     Now I can't imagine trying to give her or any other snake oral antibiotics. I feel like that would be even more stressful for her (and me!) than the shots.

    I couldn't see myself giving oral antibiotics either. There is no way my wife is holding the snake or giving the injections instead of me :colbert:. If it came down to it, I would donate the animal to someone that would be capable of following through with the injections as prescribed by the vet.
