It's really nothing to do with being perverted, lol. It's just...well, you'd have to be aware of the "OWNED" pics that float all over the net. Hard to explain. :) Guess you either get it or you dont. :(

I don't separate my male mouse from the female when she has babies.. they won't eat them unless they die or if they are majorly disturbed right after having the babies.

as for killing pinks.. anything less than 2 weeks old can be just popped in the freezer. Real easy. :) Co2 has no effect on them anyway, they're naturally hypoxia resistant..

    That's what I thought it meant. :)

The only real reason I seperate the male from the mothers is so that he can mate with another female.

Yeah.. I seriously need to get another female mouse. But I want a pretty one. All the pet stores that have pretty mice only have males. I go through 3 pinks a week now.. mouse is having trouble keeping up.

and now Nibby is getting poofy. I expect to have some babies by late next week!!! she's getting put in her new tank tomorrow. Hippo won't be there to pester her or eat her babies lol :)

Penny and Lightning have showed no signs of becoming parents yet. Lightning tries, but Penny just won't do it. :?

i'm curious to see what the offspring is going to look like. fancy mouse+feeder mouse= ????

Haha, look at the feeder mouse eyes, don't they look histerical? HA! Congrats.........?

hehe.... she wasnt very pleased :)

im only separating Nibby from Hippo because Hippo is a mad psycho when it comes to mating. since Nibby will be going into heat again a few days after giving birth, Hippo will be right on her the whole time. i dont want her to get upset and start eating the babies, since he wont leave her alone. so he's by himself right now.

Rubber bin for an adult ball?
Ah.. see I leave mine together for the precise reason that they come into heat post delivery. I want a constant stream of babies. lol

My female rat is about to burst..

It's fun to see what colors and patterns you get from breeding them. The feeders are almost as fun as the snakes. ;)
