Which way should I orientate the heat tape?

I have no problem wiring it together, I'm pretty good at electrical stuff.

I just want to set it up correctly.

If you have the heat in the back of the rack, whether belly heat or down the back panel, you could also put smaller tubs side-by-side in the rack. If you have heat on only one side you can't do that.
