We incubate at 88.9 and we're on day 58 with no pips yet! I'm thinking they'll pip tomorrow.

Good job remaining patient. The pictures at day 52 looked pretty plump. Typically they will start to collapse a bit more at the tail end of development. Just based on looks at day 52 I think they are developing a little slow which is totally fine. I've had them go to 63 days even at that temp. When one pips if you're nervous it would be OK to cut the rest.

Thanks! I candled all of them this morning, and all still have good veins and this time I saw all with good movement inside the eggs.

    Development...

I set the clutch up in a tub with cling wrap beneath the kid to seal in humidity.
The Herpstat Pro probe was hanging just above the sealed tub and was set at 88.3. A temp gun showed the eggs surface temp at 88.8. This was during the first couple weeks of incubation.

When I candled them the other day it looked as if they weren't taking up much space in the eggs, but it's incredibly hard for me to tell what's what.

Today when I candled them I heat gunned the egg surfaces. 84.5.

So I'm a bit concerned about their well being.
The herpstat probe is now IN the tub and reading 89.2. Maybe my heat gun is wrong???

    Not sure what to do.

Today is day 55. I'm STIIIIIIIIIILL trying to hold off on cutting them.
I wish there was a way to at least sort of tell how far along they are in the eggs.

We usually cut at day 57 when incubating at 88.9. It's day 60 and I suspect all of them will be out by tonight.
