So sorry that this happened! It's really terribly sad when you see how far along they were in developing. Are you sure those were the temp ranges and that there were no real spikes. I know temps over 90f are suspect but your temps seemed average?

I am doubting it was temperature. I mean, would they have developed that far for it to be a temperature issue throughout the incubation? Wouldn't the eggs have died in earlier stages if temperature fluctuated? I am wondering if there was a bacterial infection or even a genetic issue.

So sorry too, it really sucks. I've lost some full-term babies before as well, and you immediately question yourself. Rest assured, you did nothing wrong, evident by the fact they made it this far. Likely bad genetics or mother nature that you just cannot control. You'll succeed next time so don't let this one discourage your efforts. Cheers,

If the eggs are really calcified, the babies have a difficult time pipping through the shell. Generally I will cut a slot at 55 days to help them pip on their own.

So, so sorry this happened ): We too have had a bad year. It can be very disheartening, but we're already making plans for next year.

Sorry to hear of the losses. :(

What was you incubation medium, and how much water did you add to it? When someone writes that eggs developed mold, I automatically jump to the conclusion that the incubation medium was too wet.

I am sorry to hear that they didn't make it. But there is always next year. Good luck!
