Best substrate

I have a rack as well and I use news paper.....it doubles as reading material while they poo:rofl:

I tried newspaper when I first got my rack, and hated it! I know lots of people swear by it, but it just didn't jive with me. With mulch I can spot clean, and if they spill water, the mulch absorbs it pretty well so they aren't sitting on a wet newspaper until I wake up and see they've made a mess.
