I use a food scale that has a wide platform and can weigh up to six pounds. My ball is nowhere near that weight yet, but it has several units of measurement. I use grams like everyone else.

Here is a stock photo of the exact scale I have. It super easy to use and easy to clean. I weigh Severus when he is empty and I weigh his food before I feed it to him. I keep a weight and growth chart, on it I log the date, his empty weight, the weight of his food, what he ate, and then I have a small section for notes.

Its The Biggest Loser scale. As I stated above, it weighs up to six pounds and its easy to clean. I use it for him and only him. I got it from a friend, but she told me she got it at Walmart.

I have that same scale and it works great for me.
