Beautiful, congrats! :) I got my BRB as a yearling, so I can't speculate on the nippiness of babies, however - I can confirm that being bitten by a 1.5 year old BRB is a joke. Haha... I thought it was a close mouthed strike until I saw the blood.

Okay, that makes me feel a bit better lol!! Breeder says they're all a little nippy in their enclosures but good once they're out and with regular handling my girl will calm right down for me. I'm excited!

This also gives me time to get her enclosure set up. She's pretty small, so I'm wondering what size tub to keep her in? It looks like she's being kept in a shoebox size tub. Is that about right or should I be getting one a little bigger for a baby?

I think a shoebox size tub sounds good for a baby.

    More BRB eye candy! Haha.

They look super cool when in shed. That's an old picture, but my girl is in blue again right now.

Ahh, she looks so cool! I'm just getting more and more excited. I had no idea they looked like that during shed.

You could jump to a 12-15 qt tub if you want, just put an inch of cypress mulch in it along with a water dish. As babies they love to burrow under the cypress so the whole thing acts like a big humid hide. Provide a warm side around 86*F, spot clean as needed, replace the cypress periodically (I put mine on my veggie garden), and your critter should be very happy for at least a year in that tub.
