My girl tends to have this happen when she sheds. I have no idea how she gets the piece out of her nostril, but she does... Suspicious....

These threads scare me! With how fast people come to "illness" Whistling often never means RI. (Popping clicking) Some snakes just whistle.. i have a Super cini & Green Tree Python, Who ever since hatchlings have had a more noticeable "whistle" during their heavy breaths.

Yup, my guy is like that too. Sometimes he just whistles or "sneezes," but has never shown any other signs of RI. Eats great and sheds great.

Yes, it's even more amazing when many of these people who scream "RI" have never really dealt with one.

I'm with you, it scares me how many people are ready to offer advice on something they potentially have no valid experience with.

The whistle is a very normal noise in an agitated ball python.

Even better the instant "raise temps/slam humidity" But yes, your snake is likely just being a snake, When exerting heavy breaths, most will whistle, from anything to substrate/water/stuck shed, or just how there small little noses work! After a few snakes/years with them, it all becomes so easy and less worry some!
