    Judy - That would be terrifying!! Hahaha :D Good strategy! The funny thing about this girl is that she will look at the rat, flick her tongue in and out a few times, move around the rat and try to bite my hand. She's determined. But closing the tub after sticking the rat in quickly worked! Hopefully it will continue to work.

    Greg - It's hit and miss as far as laying the rat in the container goes. She is usually pretty uninterested in them if I don't wiggle them for her a bit.

    On the other hand, another of my ball pythons ate from tongs for a long time and then suddenly would only eat if I left her food on the floor of her cage. After a period of time she must have decided that she can eat from tongs again because she has gotten back into the habit of striking at the prey while I am still dangling it. Funny little creatures!
