    The temperatures are correct. (humidity a bit low), however, how big is the tub? If it is a small baby tub, and the heat pad is under a bigger section of the floor than should be, it can lead them to spend less time on the hot end. What percentage floor space does the heat mat cover?

    It covers about 40% of the vivarium on the left hand side.

    The tub he has on the heat mat is covered by 100% of the heatmat. Would you say maybe it's a good idea to move the tub half on half off the heat mat?
