    Sometimes little gnats will hatch out of bedding. They don't cause any harm.

    It did have sorta the shape of lady bug but definitely smaller... Like half the size maybe a bit less, I didnt see any markings.

    There are 20000 types of mites. There is only one of those that prey on reptiles. Ophionyssus natricis, does not fly, it cannot reproduce with out reptiles, it cannot live for long periods with out them either. Unless you have come into contact with reptiles that had them or have purchased something kept with in 2m of a reptile with them you simply cannot get them.

    There are mites of one sort or another everywhere. You have them on you, the place you live has them and yes the snake enclosure does as well. They are everywhere, and like the most of them they go with out notice or concern. I would not be concerned unless you have them in numbers.

    Mites are not insects they are arachnids. I don't believe there are any arachnids that have wings.
