You sure know how to pick the double recessive projects, Hypo Pied, Lightning Pied, and Hypo Clown, all amazing combinations. I really like your Pastel Yellowbelly Pied too. Out of curiosity, do you feel that your Pied het Hypo male is lighter than most other Pieds? I ask because I think my Pied het Hypo female is a shade lighter than most other adult female Pieds that I have seen.

Exactly what I was thinking. A lesser leopard het pied or lesser leopard pied would be perfect. :D:D

Thanks, what can I say I am a sucker for long term projects ;) . I also have a male Pied Het albino to add to the list but he is in shed .

The Pied Het Hypo does not look brighter than one of my female Pied at the same age so I would not go and venture on markers for those. Pieds definitely vary in colors.

Hmm, may have to consider getting a second snake with whatever is going to be coming from those.

Long term certainly are rewarding. I've been working on my Hypo Pied Project for 4 1/2 years and have yet to get the visual double recessive. I can only imagine the challenge and excitement of 4 double recessive projects.

I was just curious. I know there is a lot a variability in Pieds, so thought I would ask. Thanks for the feedback.

Which of your double recessive projects do you think will produce the visual double recessive first? (I know it may only be a guess, but just wondering if you have a guess.)

Albino pied will be first just waiting on the male to be up to size, my double het girls are 1700 and 1800 grams, the Hypo Pied project the male is ready but the female will likely only breed late next season, and the Hypo Pied is at least 18 months away minimum before I start pairing.....getting closer plus I am cheating not using DH males ;)
