    Well worth the money too.

    Congrats!

Thanks very much... I was pretty happy to get him... plus I know he'll be taken care of better. There are a couple of spots that look as though he was rubbing on his previous cage... nothing serious (and I think it will be fine in a couple of sheds)... he seems thin... and maybe was a little dehydrated.... AND... the best part was how his pillowcase reaked of "smoke" smell... as soon as the guy pulled away from the gas station I met him at, I threw the pillow case in the garbage (I had a spare).

I think he's fine and think he'd been looked after great (until maybe just recently), but I'm happy to have gotten him. We pretty much just have Columbians here (the area where I live) and a few morphs. If he is a true Red Tail like I think he is, I feel even luckier ... no matter what though, he's pretty great to me :-) .

I'm pretty positive that's a true red tail. I'd bet on it. Enjoy.

Thanks :-) . It's one of those things that doesn't really matter... and I love Columbians and all the Boa Constrictors (and love how they look)... but I've always wanted a BCC and have never even seen one in person... plus you have all the misinformation about them.

It's still really nice to have it confirmed by others though... (and pretty fun trying to figure out exactly what he might be) :-) .

I appreciate your post, thanks [emoji3] . My wife was looking through a ton of boa pictures and that's exactly what she thought as well [emoji3] . Its pretty amazing how much they can vary.

Gerardo: I don't know for sure... just from what others have told me and from comparing pictures of other BCCs. It could be a cross or something all together for all I know :) (but it doesn't look like BCIs that I've personally seen).

    midgard: Thanks :) .

Definitely BCC. The bright red/white tail is the main giveaway, but also the crazy belly pattern. Also the saddles are "different" but not in a way I can really describe. [emoji14]
    Beautiful snake!
