    I think you got me all wrong. I don't expect him to be a puppy...my small experience with snakes taught me that. I just have the feeling the problem derives from me and not the husbandry. And i never had a problem with my other snakes. :/

    Temps and RH are correct, the new plastic cage is crammed with his ild stuff, and yesterday morning i found a perfect shed rolled up in his hide. (I changed his bedding to paper, but if that's the cause i would expect food denial but not being scared)

    I will try and abstain from handling and offering every 5 days as with all my young snakes. I don't feed live...ii couldn't find the right sizes of live rats and i don't wanna risk it. Also he has been eatong frozen rats since day 1. It's a pity not working out with him...he is one of my favorite snakes (but i try not to show that to the orhers ;)

    Well the shed can upset them. My big BCI girl gets cranky when she is shedding and m BP basically wont even move if you pick her up in shed. I say just give him time.
