Unfortunately it happens. Last year I only paired two virgin females, both gave me nice clutches. This year the first two females to lay have both slugged out. Absolutely nothing was different.

Ok - so lets move this from "Sorry" to "lets learn".
Often times slugs mean your husbandry was off. The fact that your female laid eggs means that you're doing a lot of the right things, so that's good - good job!
How hot was the females tub? Often a tub that is too warm will result in slugs.

Actually, she was wrapped around them all. My wife picked here up to clean her tub that evening because she had spilled water everywhere. When she picked her up one egg rolled out. She called me down to the snake room and I used a towel to get the spider ball out of the cage. The first picture was of the tub as soon as I removed her from the tub.

The hot spot is about 89-90 degrees. The cool spot gets to about 80 or so. We have a temp gun and do moniter the tubs. We have a small room in our basement deicated to our snakes. We have a small humidifier running 24/7 as well as a space heater that heats the room itself to around 75-80 degrees.

Whats the humidity level set toÉ Do you do night temp drops or have a cooling period at allÉ If so, what method do you use to cool?

We mist, the snakes from time to time, but we have a humidifier running in the room non stop. We do not have night drop module, and have for the most part kept constant temps throught the season.

Well, your husbandry doesn't sound like it's the problem. Perhaps this time she just didn't get the egg making recipe down. Sorry! Don't give up though, breeding anything requires commitment.
