That's why I said to do what you can as the first line of help for her to improve.If she doesn't want to eat, don't sweat it. Try again at the next scheduled feeding time and date. When you do try to feed her again offer something smaller than her regular sized meal. Maybe you are wrong about the sound? Possible? Relax and monitor her over the next week. Peace. Good luck. I did listen to the noise on the video and it didn't strike me as a sound of distress. Hang in there and don't worry.

I'll keep an eye on her. I hope it's not a upper respiratory infection. Not that I can't afford the vet or medication, I just don't want to wait until it's too late. They're supposed to have 2 emergency appointment spots open at all times. There is a very small handful of herp owners in the area, I think the vet is just lazy. I did find out since I last posted that my sister knows how to check for a respiratory infection, and can get me the medication I need to take care of it if she does have one. She is a vet tech, and apparently her clinic just recently started seeing reptiles (yay!!) so she is coming over on Saturday to check her out. Her temp is up to 84 ambient, 89 on the warm side and 78-80 on the cool. I pointed the thermometer inside her hide (where she is) and it read 82-84.4.

Adjust your temps so the temps are what they need to be not just on your thermostat reading. Then gun the hot spot to make sure it's the right temp ....later of course

Her temps have been up, and I am happy to report that the wheezing sound has stopped, after I took her to the vet of course. No infection!! One of our heat lamps went out (the one that gives off light), so I'm working on picking up a new lamp. Luckily it's been warm enough to where the one lamp is giving off enough heat to keep the ambient at 85!
