    The zombie dane is Basicly just moving the mouse or rat around to make it seem like its alive so your snake will think its alive and eat it.

    People call it the mousie dance and there is also a few other names.

    You want to be sure you're not dangling it in front of his head directly though..then the prey can be intimidating, which can put them off feed.

    I hardly ever dangle the mice for my ball, If I have to make it move, I drag it (held by tail end) away from my bp slowly.

    You should, but when he starts to eat live, you can try the "mousie dance" with prekilled or f/t food.

    It may help if you prekill the mouse, and just lay it in the tank with your snake. He might just slither over to it and begin eating it that way. I have one BP who is terrified of anything moving around his head, but if you set the prekilled rat down near him, he starts flicking his tongue all around it and eats it nicely.
