Sounds like he was sticking possibly out of fear and as to protect him self. I would wait till next week and try a pre killed or frozen thawed next week. Some balls won't eat during their shed cycle. Mine will eat even in blue but most will not.

Should we try again tomorrow with frozen like s/he is used to or wait until next week?

Personally, I would wait. You said previously he hasn't missed a meal so no problem there. Just pick up with the next scheduled feeding. Give him some time and space. Take your time with him and remember striking out is usually from fear. Put a extra hide in the enclosure and only pick him up when he is crawling around outside the hide for now. Keep us updated!:gj:

I also agree with shaneswife828 on the notion of not wanting to feed during a shed or impending shed cycle. So, just take it easy and make Fuzzy comfortable and boost his confidence. Hang in there.

That's correct, no missed meals. I was just curious which was better. I added another hide and changed the paper towels. I'm hoping to find a shed soon!

Sure, give him what he is used to at the next scheduled feeding. Good luck.
