    The last few feedings I've split the gut, lol. I think I'm warming them up too much too fast when thawing. I put the baggy in hot tap water, then after the water goes luke warm, I empty and put hot water in again. It bursts right in the bag, so I try to stuff the guts back in before feeding...luckily I'm not squeemish or anything, lol. Last night the gut busted, and it was more blood than guts. Of course, it had to be the night that I planned on taking pics. So I feel sorry for the person that develops my film and sees pics of a snake covered in blood and guts swallowing a bloody fuzzy thing. :)

    This is kind of an old post but.. I'll share my disgusting little story.

    This was the only time I bought a frozen rat anywhere.. from then on, I only produced my own.

    So I thawed it out, and left it overnight with Shelby who didn't eat it, and not only did it SMELL the next morning, it's um... manly parts sort of ruptured and leaked all over Shelby's tank.
