Used it when I had them and killed them the first treatment. Its safe to spray on everything including the snakes themselves.

Spray and clean everything in, on, and around the snakes. I even sprayed my carpet.

I agree. Helped with every rescue/rehome that i have come across. Works like a charm and can be applied to your snake. I called natural chemistry(my fav brand) and they walked me through it all. Also: dilute bleach water about 15:1 and soak EVERYTHING fully submerged (but the snake of course use normal water as if shed time). Let it thoroughly air dry, then use the mite spray on all of it. Do it about 2x a week until you win lol. Hope this helped

I agree with reptile spray. I had a mite problem with one of my guys and reptile spray took care of it.

Switch the bedding to white paper towels. Then spay them once a week with the reptile spray. Make sure you let it sit on them for a good 2-3 minutes before wiping them down.

Take all tubs, hides, water bowls etc and spray with diluted bleach (I use 10:1), clean and dry. Then spray with reptile spray, and let it air dry. Then put everyone back in.

I also layed out paper towels on a black trash back and spray with reptile spray. Let them dry over night, then when dry use those special treated paper towels as your "bedding."

It really helps to have doubles or extra tubs for all animals or what you'll be waiting all day to get it done right.

Do this for 3 consecutive weeks and it should do the trick.

I the mites are white/tan, then they are likely harmless wood mites. Mites that have "fed" off your snakes will be brown or black (filled with blood). Wood mites will stay white/tan as they do not feed off your snakes.

10% Permithrin diluted 1-2oz per gallon sprayed directly in the tub and on the snakes works great for any type of mite. Just remove the water dish for 24 hours so they do not rinse it off.

I use the same mixture in my rat colony monthly to keep those pesky rodent mites away.

They wont. I have had these before and never paid them any attention... I probably have them now.

I had some mites and used reptile spray. I use news paper so I sprayed under paper and on snake and took tub out and sprayed enclosure and couple days they were gone. If they really bother you take the substrate out and bake it. It will kill them all. They are in your substrate when you buy it so every time you add substrate you are in fact adding more mites. You may also seek a different source or brand of substrate. I use cypress and while I have seen these they have never been enough to cause concern.
