Re: Ball Python Nose Rub?
It is in the middle of her head half way between the tip of her nose and her eyes. The wound itself is about the same size as her eye.
The main pitfall would be getting it in her nostrils so only use a tiny amount about the size of a grain of rice.

Thanks. I'm Amandas BF, so will be helping her with the snake.
So, it does need a little ointment?
This may be a dumb question, but where exactly are her nostrils? lol
Could you feel them if you were able to touch them?
Her eyes are pretty easy to identify. lol Those beady little eyes she has. haha :)
Thanks for the description of the location of the issue. :)
It helps a lot.
Re: Ball Python Nose Rub?
Honestly it would be fine without the ointment - most of these wounds scab over fairly well.
Re: Ball Python Nose Rub?
Just to expect more frequent sheds, to get the humidity right for them and that it is normal for it to open up slightly with each shed.
Re: Ball Python Nose Rub?
Thanks, will do.
You've been a huge help! :)
