    If you're going to use that, you should line it with some kind of acrylic sheeting and weld all the edges so the wood is just a way to add structure. Otherwise you're just going to be fighting mold and whatever cheap wood it's made out of rotting.

    Why are you still talking about a screen? Do you now believe the information you have be given? You are going to have a horrible time keeping your humidity up.

    oh i misread that other snake forum..what i typed in google "reptile enclosure wooden waterproofing epoxy" and this popped up 'waterproof sealant for painted wooden enclosure, 'the screen imma use is for the top where the light is going but imma have to wait till i can get something for that other missing door, like suggested..THANKS for the POSITIVE responses...

    found something else, looks like what you guys or girls have been talking about from home depot VOC Free Non Toxic Lumber-Seal 1-gal. Clear Satin Wood Sealer...

    would KRYLONŽ CLEAR POLYURETHANE COATING Be ok for waterproofing my new enclosure.??

    I don't know what is available over there but I used to use yaught varnish and make sure it has set completely and all fumes have cleared.

    Varnish would be your best bet. It that all real wood or are some of the panels MDF? I can tell from the photos.
    Give it a couple days with good ventilation to gas out. If you could put it outside in the sun that will help too.
    You honestly only need to seal the bottom and maybe 3 or 4 inches up the sides, those are the only places you will really get water splashes and poo paintings.
