    AP can move the vents around if you want them to. I'm not sure if they would charge for that, but from my experience with them I would guess that they wouldn't.

    Once the vents were moved it shouldn't be difficult to mount the background of your choice. I would probably try to do so before assembling the cage, or at least with the top of the cage off.

    I have a perch in my carpet cage. I didn't have AP put one in, buy I'm sure they could. I decided to go with a DIY floor mounted perch made from PVC pipe and PVC fittings. I find that they are easier to correctly size and upgrade as needed, as well as clean.

    Gio you had pretty much sold me on Pro-Line cages as well through other posts... then to find out he is not making them anymore felt like I was back to square one and AP was also my second choice... I like the look of the backgrounds so I am interested where you would move the vents to in AP cage? Also wondered how these backgrounds are to keep clean etc? They look like they have a lot of detail and would take some time to get clean if there were to get smeared with something... or get water spots/deposits?
