    It can go through more than 1 layer. Mine has a couple that are this way, and they just seem to be that way, maybe after a few sheds it would disappear

    You don't have much to worry about and after a few sheds they should be all better.

    My bloods get bent scales all the time since they are so heavy bodied and fold themselves instead of laying in a nice coil like other snakes.
