Yes. This is her first clutch. I'll be happy with 5 to 6 eggs and 2 VC's. My biggest concern is will I be able to distinguish the Vanilla from the Fire in the case of a single gene offspring?

Well it's day 30 post PLS and still no eggs. She doesn't even look like she's uncomfortable yet which is a little discouraging. I guess I'm spoiled because my previous clutches have all been on day 27 or 28. Please stay tuned for further updates as this story develops. I sure hope they don't. I'm already checking a couple/few times a day. Can't imagine what it will be like if they go that long.

She finally decided to get with the program on day 33. There was nothing about 6:30 this morning and when I just checked on her about 10:00 I could see three pearly whites so far. Hard to see in the pic because she is covering them. I'll update once she is finished.

Woohoo! Oh, the suspense... haha. Glad she got with the program. ;P

She ended up giving me 4 perfect eggs that weighed 390 grams total and all candled with strong veins.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic on the candled egg. It is difficult to get it focused in the dark. Hopefully we'll be seeing a Vanilla Cream poking its head out in about 60 days. Thanks for looking.
