Yeah It doesn't sound like an issue. The snakes I've had all go to the warm area for a few days after a meal

I just let them be my normal usually chills on the hot side until he poo's in there then I'll catch him on the cool side. My albino is a bit different she camps her warm side a lot but seems to go to cooler side to digest from time to time. Both snakes are content and gaining weight and very healthy so I don't worry bout it too much
