    this way not be what happened but if you feed them in the aspen in the enclosure just put them in a separate feed box without the bedding. Aspen sticks to wet frozen thawed and striking at live if they miss they get a mouth full of aspine

    Haha, well I wont feed them in a feeding box, too many snakes too little time. If this is the issue, I will go back to the newspaper or cypress mulch (which I use for my boas).

    My friend recently brought her ball python in and it cost her a whopping $480 for one snake for a genetic problem and that snake has a sister that my friend also has with the same genetic issue.
