Male Sparring with Female?

Better check the Sex both. It happen to me a couple of years ago, A friend of mine lend her adult python female so I made the female into a breeder size..the following year a paired with with my breeder males.... nothing happened...
The following year I paired it with my proven adult male pinstripe. After a few minutes i heard banging in the cage... they were fighting I was surprised it was my first time seeing this behavior.. I immediately removed my pinstripe.... I probe my friends ball python to my surprise it was a male.....
