    If you want something easy to maintain that does not mind being handled you might want to look into BTS as well (Blue Tongue Skink), their care requirements is easier than those of a beardie but like beardies they will require a large enclosure, ideally 4x2 cage.

    Their diet is easy no bugs to deal with if you are not into it, simple 50/40/10 diet (veggies (greens mainly)/ Meat /Fruits), some people offer cat food I prefer chicken liver (no additive or preservative)

    You can fix their food, freeze it and thaw one meal at the time when needed (adults eat once or twice a week)
