Re: Wanted to show off my new babies!
One last question (for today). I have 2 10gal aquariums side by side. Would it be safe to use 1large uth and put it where its under half of each or no? It would be partly on the plastic in between the aquariums is why I ask. . .

Congratulations on your new additions. Yes, you can do that with the UTH, just make sure that you continue to monitor the temperatures in both tanks.
I'm pretty sure that the girl in the purple shirt is the same one that dumped some hissing cockroaches in my hand, to hold, as part of a bet. The two things that I hate the most are clowns and cockroaches. But, just because I held some cockroaches, doesn't mean that my next thing is to hug a clown...

Ok. I didnt know if I could and since the heaters that were sold to me were the rainforest ones and they arent getting very hot I just put the small one on the 10g and the large one on the 20l . I have heat lamps on the other 10g bc thats what ive always had on her. The air temp in the 2 with the mats seems to be staying at 75 but the mat temp is like 85 so I think that will work. Gonna wrap the lids 3/4 with foil to retain heat and moisture. They all seem to be happy and healthy. Our normal shed while we were there yesterday, we didnt even know she was ready to shed again. Thanks for all of the help from everyone here and everyone that was at the show, I learned alot and will probably be ready for another purchase in June lol. I may just save up for a rack system and get rid of all these tanks.
And as far as the cockroaches go, I stayed away from them. I stayed away from bugs, arachnids, anything bigger than me (and since I was in a wheelchair that was a LOT) and bunnies.
