I personally prefer offering a minimum of Length+Width=the snake's length, so your tank works as a minimum, but you may want to go bigger if you wish. (Personally, an 18" width is a bit too thin for my tastes.)

    Mr. Misha
I'd suggest looking into PVC enclosures like Animal Plastics for example if you you're going to be upgrading to a bigger enclosure.

If you have only just installed it all? give it some time to heat up properly and start working.
I've just switched my BP from belly heat to a CHE I left it all running for about 4 days to make sure everything was solid before moving my BP in.

I have had it set up from about 24 hours it just can't get to 90 on the hot side I do have a small heating pad under where his belly would be but it's till topping out at about 83 degrees and I know my guy likes 90 so I have a 60 watt ceramic and a 100 inferred I'm going to go with 2 100 ceramic light cuz im frankly tires of see the red like light up my whole freaking house. Whish I had time to order them in I know that pet store will rape me over the coals on this

I completely disagree, gallons does not matter is floor space. and youre size is not large enough for a adult but a juvenile will be fine for a while provided you take it out every few days.
