Np don't want cardboard and that kind of stuff in the enclosure because you can't clean it

There are some great tutorials on how to make really nice DIY hides, the big thing with anything in the tank is make sure it can be fully sterilized. Even apart from health and safety issues for the snake, you don't want to be throwing out and replacing anything besides the substrate on a regular basis. With the bubble wrap you want it between the tank and the cardboard. So the cardboard is the very ouside layer, then comes the bubble wrap in the middle, then the glass of the tank. This is to slow the heat transfer. Just make sure the rounded side with the bubbles is against the glass, with the flat surface of the bubble wrap against the cardboard outer layer. :) Skip is absolutely right that with spot on husbandry, most other issues will disappear. That is the main thing about snakes that is very simple, most problems are caused by some underlying issue with care which, once resolved, will cause a domino effect and the other things will correct themselves. I am always glad to offer suggestion and hopefully help other keepers. I am still new to the game and I know how much I have benefitted from others here taking the time to give me pointers and calm me down when I panic over something that I am sure to them seems like an obvious non-issue. :P There is truly a great community here. Be sure to post more pics when you have everything set up, and you know...just because. We love pics. ^_^
