Is my cover ok till I can get a new one?

i had a makeshift lid like this, woke up and my snake was gone so my answer is no, put in a temporary container and get a new cover right away

Do you not have a light in your room? LOL. Can't see anything in the pics of the lid.

Anyway - snakes are notorious escape artists. I would err on the side of caution and not leave him there unattended. Get a proper lid asap. My $0.02.

We get paid tomorrow night. This is only till I can get a good cover.
