    hmm......i fed my baby the first day i got her home :roll:

    i knew i shouldent but i didnt wanna make the poor thing wait another whole week to eat while she got used to her new home.But she took it down no problem.

    I think the waiting a week thing really depends on the snake. Just like humans, each has a different personality. While some may be stressed with it, others will not have a problem. My BP also ate about 2 days after I brought him home.

    yea when i got my new bp u wouldnt have even knew it was brand new cuz it acted like it had no stress and ate like there was no stress!

    I totally agree, but obviosuly that snake was soo stressed it caused death. Lesson learned- IF your snake doesnt eat in the first week dont hit him in the head and cut the pinky's head off- Causes MAJOR stress

    I didnt mean it in a negative or harsh way. It was a simple moral of a stroy. At least i didnt mean for it to come across as a putdown or so on, every one can make a mistake. There was no down grading about it. just stating the lession learned, and if considering a new snake, to take that in to account. Like ffighterstu said, every snake is different

    Believe me, I learned my lesson :wink: the hard way. :cry: I might now just find out what sex my BP is then get another of the opposite sex so there's a pair. Anyone know of a good place to get juvie-semi adult BP's at a good price?
