    I use news paper and feed in the tub. my tubs hold humidity just fine. you need a large enough water bowl with water and keep the room at 85 degrees. I keep mine in 41 qt tubs the room stays at 85 and the hot spot about 88-90. I just started breeding and I have seen several locks.

    I personally use aspen over paper towels for a few reasons. I can get the giant bag from the reptile show so I feel that saves more money than going through rolls of paper towels since I use aspen in 10 of my tubs (five are 28 qt and five are 41 qt). I also like giving them something to kind of nest in, and I don't feel paper towel would give them that option. Also because aspen will be moved around and I just have to brush it back in place, whereas paper towel can get crumpled and torn and would need more replacing. Hope this helps :)
