    What would your recommendation be for an enclosure that has a 65% humidity in the areas on around the basking spot, but inside the warm hide where the carpet python currently is, the RH is only getting to 48%? I am tempted to switch to a hide that has moss in it so he doesn't dehydrate. New acquisition senior snake I want to remain healthy. He is not exploring or seeking out any colder temps. Thank you.

    I would first suggest starting a new thread...not adding onto one that's dated from 5 years ago. ;) Many members ignore "zombie threads" & I want you to get the answers you came here for. Make sure you post in the proper forum too (for carpet python) to get better information.
